The urns are made of soft, warm and pleasant-feeling wool felt, which gives a comforting and natural feeling. Each urn is carefully handmade by (female) artisans. There is great attention to detail and a personal touch, making each urn unique. Wool felt is biodegradable, making the urn an eco-friendly choice.
The urn is produced under fair-trade conditions, with an emphasis on ethical sourcing of materials and fair compensation for the artisans involved. We cooperate with a small workshop specialising in felt products, mainly women work here.
